X-spat boX2, the workstation used to create the 3D soundscapes, can process audio up to 56 mono
channels
at 24 bit and 96 kHz, but, until recently, there was no burning to
optical disc format that would offer playback of eight audio tracks
through a Hi-Fi equipment.
With
the advent of Blu-ray Disc ™ and DTS-HD Master Audio, finally the true
3D sound is accessible to all fans of home theater and you can listen
comfortably in 3D in all homes.
The
minimum configuration of a 3D-EST setup that maintains compatibility
with the stereo, includes eight speakers positioned like in the
following figure:
The
recommended configuration, which maintains compatibility with stereo,
5.1 and 7.1 Dolby ® or DTS ®, involves adding a center speaker and a
sub-woofer.

To
play a 3D-EST DVD for blu-ray, you need just a normal player of any brand.
But you should check the compatibility of your AV receiver with DTS-HD
Master Audio standard, and use a HDMI 1.4 connector to connect the
Blu-Ray player to the receiver. For a current list of compatible models
